Our History
North Shore Driving School is owned and operated by Josie Briton who takes an active role in the operations and management of the company.
Established in 1961, North Shore Driving School remains synonymous with leadership in the driver training industry AND has been one of the premier driving schools in Vancouver, offering comprehensive training programs taught by government-certified instructors.
Many families are sending second and third generations through our ICBC approved programs.
Industries and government continue to call upon North Shore Driving School to conduct customized courses to meet their needs, for example:
- Class 5/7 and Class 1 Driving Instructor Training
- Air Brake Refresher Courses
- Group Defensive Driving Courses
- Employee Evaluations
Specialized Training
We also do specialized training for people with special needs or conditions such as paraplegics, amputees, and individuals who have suffered from strokes or injury.
The Commercial Truck Training Centre is located in Burnaby, the Car Division and Head Office is located in North Vancouver.
