Our instructors complete a government certified ICBC approved Driving Instructor Training Course including classroom and on-road training. This comprehensive course is 80 hours for Class 5/7 instructors and 120 hours for Class 1 instructors. Our instructors continue with frequent upgrading of skills throughout their career with us. All instructors have good command of the English language.

The instructor training course requires individuals be approved for training directly by ICBC through a criminal record background check and a medical condition check before being permitted into the program.

North Shore Driving School is bonded with ICBC.

When signing up for our driving courses, each student receives a complete schedule with the same instructor; however, certain circumstances or the needs of the student may require a change of instructor.
